Classed as Used – Factory 2nd, Professionally repaired.Air floor had some leaks / poor gluing around the fuel tank strap points from the factory.This has been professionally repaired and the floor holds air very well (has been up for 3 days & still solid)The floor is very clean, the odd mark from storage. - The only real cosmetic issue is the Acti-V logo is pealing off in places - see pic (common issue with some of these floors)

Cygnet has had a lot of updated equipment
installed over the last 5 – 6 years, getting her ready for my retirement.
However, last September (2011), my wife fell in love with a 10M Catalac, which
we have purchased. So now I am having to sell “Cygnet”. The
construction is of G.R.P and comprises of 1 Double Cabin, Pilot berth, Heads,
Saloon, Galley. The seats in the saloon also convert to become a double berth.
The cockpit comprises of 2 large engine lockers and 3 storage lockers, also there
is a full width stern deck fitted covering the rudder tie-bar. The cockpit has
an Owen spray hood and a cockpit canopy covering the complete cockpit. Copper
Coat antifouling was applied to the hulls in 2009.

 Ashore in Goport, Hampshire. 

Engines.

2 x Volvo 9 hp inboard diesels (last serviced
2010) with saildrives.
New Volvo 2 blade propellers (fitted 2011).
Ambassador Marine Stripper rope cutters fitted on

Here i have my Avon RIB R3.11 it comes complete with trailer and 10hp 2 stroke mariner engine. I run engine today, water circulates around engine good. [see picture] the primer seems to of seized over winter so i started with a squirt of carb cleaner. started straight away and then i stopped and started it several times without any help. sounds very good, engine is stored in garage.

Rib in good condition for year. all ready to go, couple of jobs i would do if keeping is to add a couple of patches on the rear where the transem meets inflated section, purley cosmetic [see photo]  there is also a eye that i would re-stick on the front for a rope to go through. this is not needed but just keeps it looking smart

Trailer already to go, the tow hitch part is easily removable for extra security

Comes with a anchor, quicksilver fuel tank, spare fuel can, light board, footpump, needs new pipes on footpump [split]

4.5m RIB – Rigid Inflatable BoatThis is an ex RNLI D-Class that has been converted for fishing and general cruising about.Boat comes with : 35hp Johnson Engine, Fuel Tank and linkage, Fish Finder, Oars, Trailer including Lights (not shown on pics), Rod holders on the floor and top of the engine, a footpump, 2/3 tank of fuel and 2l of 2 stroke fuel additive.Selling because I am moving away from Swansea and have a new car that doesn’t have a towbar, but had it out plenty of times last year.Good Points – The engine! It’s a great little runner, never had any problems starting or running it, starts in the first few pulls. Has had the tiller replaced a month ago. Changed the gear fluid and it showed no signs of gear wear. Has been properly cleaned with fresh water after every use. Fins help the boat plane nicely. The boat can take a 40 hp engine – possibly more.The tubes stay up well for 2-3 days and the boat is really stable when stationary, it also loves powering through any rough water (what the RNLI designed it for!)Bad Points – The trailer is not the best, the front/towing end is great but the back end could use a little work. Saying that though I drove it from North Wales, to Norwich and then to Swansea without any trouble and no problems launching with it. The splash guard on the front has been repainted so has some life in it yet but will probably need replacing after some serious use.Its not a new boat! It has some good years under its belt and I expect it will have a good few more if properly looked after.Only bid on the boat to buy, not to look. Please ask any questions you want and feel free to come have a look if you are interested before the end of the auction.Buyer to collect as I now have no means of getting it to you.
