For sale is my 22 foot Snapdragon cruising yacht.  I have bought a 43 foot yacht which I am emigrating to live aboard hence Spririt is for sale.  She comes fully equiped and although she would benfit from some TLC she is ready to go and afloat on the water on the Humber (East Yorkshire).  In 2008 she lost her mast so the mast and rigging is all new from 2008.  Also the Roller furler on the headsail was replaced new and is bu Harken which is a premium model.

She is by far the largest 22 foot boat in terms of accommodation and I have spent weekends with 4 people on board.  If you are 5ft 9ins or shorter she has full headroom which is very unusual for a 22 foot boat.  She has a seperate toilet compartment with a full sea-tiolet, table, 2 burner cooker, and sink with maually pumped water.  Spirit has a draft of 2foot 8 inches and having a bilge keel she takes to the ground very well.

The details of the equipment is as follows:

Roller reefing Genoa, Harken reefing system, Kemp sail in good condition.

Boom reefing main, sail in serviceable condition.

Spinnaker and pole

Silva S15 DSC Radio with GPS aerial and Navtex with seperated aerial

Garmin GPSMAP162 Chartplotter with Bluechart software.  Base map plus detailed maps for the Thames estuary.  Connector is damaged but works OK.

Five berths but one is child size (V berth accommodates 1+ child).  Would be cozy with 5 adults!

Newish double burner cooker with 2  5Kgs gas cylinders (one nearly full)

Dodgeres and Sprayhood in good condition.

Jackstays fitted from bow to stern on both the port and starboard sides.

Running rigging new in 2007

Mast, standing rigging new in 2008

Heads replaced in 2007.

Upholstery in good condition dates from 2004

20W Spectra solar panel and charge regulator.

2 x 100A 6V batteries in series to give 12V 100A.

Electric and manual bilge pumps.

Main Anchor with 30m chain and 20m warp plus a second danforth anchor.

8hp Yamaha high thrust 2 stroke outboard engine with 11 litre petrol tank

Engine has lighting coil output and there is a rectifier so the engine can charge the battery at the rate of about 4 amps.

In the cockpit there is remote control for the throttle, forward, neutral, and reverse gears

Stern swim ladder

5 automatic lifejackets

Fire blanket and 2 fire extinguishers.

Semperit 2.8m inflatable dingy with oars, old but seviceable.

There is also a Raymarine Autohelm 1000 autopilot (new in 2009) which can be bought seperately or I will add free of charge if the boat sells for more than 3000 pounds.

There was originally an inboard engine which was removed by a previous owner.  The propshaft is still fitted and the propellor is available with the boat is a new owner wants to refit an inboard engine.  The removal of the engine provides a lot of extra space and currently there is an inflatable dingky stored in this space.  Certainly the boat is less maneouverable at slow speed with the outboard but the capable of pushing the boat along at over 5 knots.  Spirit weighs about 1.5 tonnes.

As you can see from the above the boat is very well equiped.  Spirit does need some TLC as she has been neglected a little over the last 2 years so the washboards and cockpit locker tops could do with replacing.
